1. Confirm Act-On is set up

Before you start designing marketing automation with Act-On, it's important to be sure everything is set up correctly. Run through these check-lists, with your Act-On administrator if you need assistance, to confirm you are good to go:

Are the following technical requirements set up for your Act-On account? Done?
Profile details, including your organization's account details: company name, and account address.
Act-On users (including you) in your organization. For example, admin, marketing, & sales users.
Check your browser is compatible with Act-On.
Email 'from' address, including SPF, DKIM, & DMARC.
Envelope 'from' domain.
Yahoo email feedback loop.
Allow Act-On IPs in your network.
Custom marketing domain.
Beacon tracking.

If you are using a CRM with Act-On, has this been set up? Done?
CRM connected to Act-On.
Data management is synced to your CRM.
Standard field names optimized for your CRM.

See the CRM Integration section for more details.

Other useful configurations to check: Done?
Upload logos, media files, images, assets, etc.
Connectors to integrate with external platforms.
Upload any existing opt-outs or hard bounces.
Configure competitor domains.
