Video Content Block (Email & Landing Page Composer)

  • Updated

Adding video content to your designs can be an effective way to engage your audience.

While embedding actual video in emails can be problematic due to limitations with email clients and data usage on mobile devices, the Video content block provides a visually effective alternative. This method can link to the video rather than embedding it, which sidesteps many of the issues associated with embedding videos in emails.

Adding a Video Content Block

  1. Drag the Video content block from the Content tab into your design.
  2. In the sidebar, under Video url, enter a valid URL for a YouTube or Vimeo video in the Url box. A thumbnail of the video with an overlaid play icon appears in the content block, and icon customization options appear in the sidebar.
  3. Edit the video Title if required.
  4. Tailor the play icon's type, color, and size to suit your overall design.
  5. Block options are available to set padding & choose to hide on mobile or desktop.
For Landing Pages, you can also set a block identifier for internal links. Learn more
