Upload HTML Code to Create an Email (new Email Composer)

  • Updated

You can manually enter or upload previously created HTML code directly in the new Email Composer to create an email or email template. Functions include a side-by-side code editor and live preview, and when uploading HTML the code is automatically optimized by improving line breaks and indentation for easier readability. Standard features, such as personalization, inserting links, accessing the image library, and configuring email settings, are also available.

New Message

  1. To create a new email, go to Outbound > New Message.
To create a new email template, go to Content > Email Templates > Create template.
  2. Click the Upload HTML code tile:

A blank email opens in the new Email Composer with three tabs on the left: Settings, HTML Content, & Send Details.

Settings, Send Details, Preview Mode, Review & Send are all the same as described in the New Email Composer User Guide. Under Settings, Preview text is unavailable; add preview text to your HTML code directly.

HTML Content

In the HTML source code area (on the right):

  • Either paste or type the HTML code for your email.
  • Or at the bottom, click Upload to upload a HTM, HTML, or ZIP file. The zip file may contain an HTML file & images used in the imported email design.

The live preview of your HTML code is shown on the left, for example:
