Appearance
Customize the visual elements to align with your website's branding. You can modify elements like the icon, title, font, colors, and background image to align your AI Insite with your website's design.
Title Bar
You can personalize the title bar by customizing the icon and title displayed in the conversation window, aligning them with your website’s branding.

Conversation Window
Customize the look and feel of the conversation window where users interact with Insite. In this section, you can adjust the font, text color, and various other elements to ensure the conversation window matches your website's design and is easy for users to read and engage with.

Font | The font used by your agent in the conversation window, supporting both standard system fonts and custom web fonts (e.g., Google Fonts). Ensure the font enhances readability and aligns with your design preferences. Note: Only a single font should be entered in the input field. |
Font Color | The color of the text in the conversation window, specified using RGB or hex values. Choose a color that provides good contrast against the background for easy readability. Black (rgb(0, 0, 0) or #000000) or dark gray (rgb(169, 169, 169) or #A9A9A9) on a light background is generally a safe choice. |
Accent Color | The RGB or hex value for the accent color used in the conversation window for icons and conversational shortcuts. |
Border Color | The RGB or hex value for the border color of the conversation window. |
Background Color | The RGB or hex value for the background color of the conversation window. |
Background Image | The URL to an image (500x740) if you prefer to have an image instead of a solid color as the conversation window background. |
Minimized Agent Image
These settings enable you to customize how Insite appears when minimized on your website. You can use the default image or upload a custom one. You can also tweak the colors to ensure Insite aligns with your overall site aesthetics when minimized.

Typewriter (Effect) on Answers

Greeting

Customize the greeting message displayed when a visitor first interacts with Insite. You can use HTML to format the message, insert images, and include dynamic content.
Conversation Starters
Add conversation starters to Insite. These prompts encourage visitors to engage with Insite right from the start.

On Page Style
Customize how Insite appears and behaves when minimized. Whether as an icon with a popup or as a search bar, these settings offer flexibility to match your website’s design and user experience.

Icon Style
Use the Icon Style settings to control how Insite appears when minimized as an icon with a popup. You can customize the image, text, and colors to align with your website’s branding.

Search Style

Knowledge
Insite's knowledge settings pages include the following information:

Scraped URLS Download Button | Downloads a CSV file containing a list of all the web pages it has been trained on. |
Knowledge Suppression | Exclude knowledge from these web pages in your answers. Add URLs that you want to exclude from your knowledge base by writing each URL on a separate line. |
Skills
Extend Insite’s capabilities by adding skills that enable more effective interactions with site visitors. These skills allow Insite to gather information, utilize existing digital assets like web pages, and facilitate interactions such as meeting scheduling, video presentations, surveys, and more.
Skill Types
When creating a skill for Insite, you can choose from different skill types, which serve as templates to configure the skill’s functionality.

Here are examples of how different skill types can be configured and used by Insite to interact with site visitors:
1. Answer with Form Skill
The Answer with Form skill type is designed for customers to equip Insite with the ability to gather information from a user and send it with other data from the conversation to a configurable endpoint. This feature is particularly well-suited for lead-generation plays and live connections of a user on your website to a sales, service, or support representative.
For example, you can use this skill type to configure Insite to:
- Respond to a website visitor's request to speak with someone by gathering a phone number and sending it into a Slack channel or to Microsoft Teams
- Promote an email newsletter or webinar, gather an email address, and add that to your marketing automation system.
- Incentivize Insite users to share their email addresses by asking if they’d like to receive a conversation summary at the end of a conversation.
When invoked, this skill displays an answer together with a field prompt and a field for the user to enter information into. It is accompanied by a customizable submit button. After the user presses the submit button, a configurable message is displayed.

Use this skill type to integrate rich content directly into the conversation, such as booking forms, video players, or surveys. This skill increases user engagement by embedding third-party tools directly into Insite’s responses.

3. Answer with URL Link Skill

Customize Insite to respond to specific topics mentioned by visitors with triggers. These triggers enable Insite to automatically invoke the appropriate skill based on the visitor’s input.

User Insights
One of the most valuable features of Insite is its ability to capture detailed conversation records. The data contained within these conversations can be extracted, analyzed, and used to inform your business strategies going forward.
You can review a summary of these conversations and download detailed reports as CSV files, allowing you to gain valuable insights into the interactions between your site visitors and Insite.
Summary
This section provides a high-level overview of the key metrics related to Insite’s interactions. It includes essential data such as the number of unique users, total conversations, and the average duration of each interaction, giving you a quick snapshot of Insite’s performance.

Installation
To install Insite on your website, add the line of JavaScript code shown to the header of each page where you want Insite to appear.
Show Installed Agent on Host Website
If toggled off, Insite will not appear on your website.
Account
Maintain the security of your Insite account.
Change Password
- In the “Enter your password” field, type your existing password. If you wish to see the characters as you type, check the “Show password” box.
- In the “New password” field, type in your desired password. Remember, your password must be at least 8 characters long and include at least one number and one punctuation mark.
- Retype your new password in the Confirm new password field to ensure accuracy.
- Once both fields match, click the Change Password button to update your password.
