Personalization (Landing Page Composer)

  • Updated

Show a customer's data fields in your Landing Page design, including relevant content that speaks directly to each person using Personalization fields. You can insert personal information such as their first name, CRM information such as their account owner, important information such as your company's local address (for example, if you have multiple locations), and much more.

The Landing Page Composer allows you to use the following types of Personalization fields:

  • Contact fields: Standard fields mapped in Lists > Standard Field Names. Learn more
  • Custom account fields: Account-wide personalizations created in your account by admins in Settings > Other Settings > Custom Account Settings > Content Personalizations. Learn more
  • CRM fields: Fields sourced from your integrated CRM (Account-Based Marketing is required).

This article focuses on using Contact & Custom account fields to personalize Landing Pages. For CRM fields, see How to Personalize Emails & Landing Pages with CRM Data.

Add Personalizations with the Composer

In the Landing Page Composer:

  1. Open the Landing Page you want, & in the Design tab, add or select a content block. Personalization is available in the following content blocks: Title, Paragraph, Button, List, & Table.
  2. In the content block, place the cursor where you want to add a Personalization field & from the toolbar that appears, click Personalization:

  1. Optional but recommended: In the Fallback text box, enter generic text to display when there is no value in the selected Personalization field.
  2. Click Insert. The variable text is added to your design.

Examples

Without fallback text: {{First Name}}

With fallback text "Friend": {{={{First Name}}|Friend}}

Add Personalizations Manually

Add Personalizations manually by enclosing the desired field name in double curly brackets:
{{First Name}}

We recommend adding fallback text. Add it to your personalization using the following format:
{{={{First Name}}|Friend}}

Personalizations must be an exact match to the field names.
