There are three ways to import custom fields from Salesforce:
- As you are importing a Salesforce list, select your custom fields to be synced
- On an existing Salesforce list, add columns for these custom fields
- Customers with Enterprise plans or the advanced CRM add-on - select your fields in CRM Administration
Watch the video below to see steps for each method.

It was always a bit of a mystery to me how act-on has access to salesforce fields. This video was great. I have an enterprise plan or the advanced CRM add-on so I could navigate to CRM Administration. I compared the fields available to be selected in the salesforce campaign object to an "API export" of all fields in that object and I can match all of them by field name (versus field label or API name). I could even match fields that I recently created. So my final question, is if this field exposure dependent or independent of my salesforce connected user profile's access by salesforce "field level security". If the connected user cannot see the field, will it still show?
Hi Tim! I believe that the CRM Administration page will pull in all fields regardless of permissions. However, I will take a closer look at this and get back to you when I know for sure.
