Install the Act-On bundle in NetSuite to enable NetSuite to pull data from Act-On into the Act-On Dashboard Portlet & the Hot Prospects Dashboard for sales reps.
Install the Act-On Bundle
- Sign into your NetSuite account using an Administrator role.
- Go to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.
- Search for the Keyword "Act-On Portal":
- Click the bundle name to open it, then click Install and follow the steps.
Install the Act-On Tab
- Go to Customization > Centers and Tabs > Center Tabs > New.
- Enter the Label "Act-On".
- From the Center list, select either All or Marketing Center, as required.
- In the Content > Categories section, enter the Name "Act-On" and click Add.
In the Content > Portlets section, select Type: Custom Portlet, Column: Center, and Show: Yes:
- Click Save.
Set Up the Act-On Portlet
- At the top, click the Act-On Tab.
- Go to Personalize > Standard Content and drag the Custom Portlet into the main area:
- Close Personalize Dashboard, and in the custom content box, at the top right, click & choose Set Up.
- Choose the Source "Act-On Dashboard Portlet":
- Click Save.

Provide the NetSuite Sales Portal User Guide to your Sales users. Have them follow the instructions to add Hot Prospects to their homepage in NetSuite.
Troubleshooting
Remove Duplicate Activity History
The Act-On bundle may create two subtabs in NetSuite for Act-On Activity History. To remove the duplicate sub-tab, follow these instructions:
- Sign into your NetSuite account using an Administrator role.
- In NetSuite, go to Customization > Forms > Entry Forms:
- Find the Preferred Entry Form for Customers/Lead/Prospects and click Edit:
- Scroll down to Subtabs and clear the selection for the duplicate Act-On Activity History:
- Click Save.
Repeat this for the Preferred Entry Form for Contacts as needed.
