This feature set allows Salesforce users to view the Contact Report directly in Salesforce.
Essentials to get started
To use this feature, sales users must have:
- An active connection to Salesforce
- Act-On package installed in Salesforce, with the most current version
- The users must be registered in Act-On to use the feature
- All Sales Users should review our recommended browser settings for our CRM Integration users, such as having their pop-up blocker disabled
Installation
Prerequisites
- An active connection to Salesforce
- Act-On package installed to the most current version
- Salesforce administrator credentials
Contact Report Button
The Contact Report can be opened from Salesforce Classic and Lightning. Note that the button must be installed on each object and page layout where you need it to appear.
These instructions apply to both Salesforce Classic and Lightning modes.
- Navigate to Page Layout setup.
- In Classic, go to Setup > Build > Customize > Leads > Page Layouts
- In Lightning, go to Setup > Quick Find > Object Manager > Lead > Page Layouts
- Select the layout you wish to add the component to, click the drop-down arrow and click Edit
- To install for Classic:
- In the top console, navigate to Buttons
- Drag and drop the Act-On Contact Report button over to Lead Detail Custom Buttons.
- To install for Lightning:
- In the top console, navigate to Mobile & Lightning Actions
- Drag and drop the Act-On Contact Report button over to Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions.
- Click Save at the top console.
Repeat steps 1-7 for Contact > Page Layouts.
