Act-On Contacts Beta: Form Submissions to All Contacts

Act-On Contacts is a major initiative to consolidate marketing lists into a single All Contacts list.  We are now in beta on this initiative.  Learn More and Participate.

We've got some new functionality now available for Act-On Contacts users.

Form Submit to All Contacts

Act-On Contacts users can now choose to have form submissions directly update their All Contacts list, in addition to adding to a form submission list.

When setting up a form that submits to Act-On Contacts, you can choose from a drop down list of your Contact profile fields - these are the fields that will be recorded in the All Contacts list.

You can also add fields that are specific to this form and will be recorded only in the form submission list.

Forms that are set to "Push to CRM" will not immediately update the All Contacts list.  To avoid duplicates, these contacts will be sent to the CRM first, then synced into All Contacts on the next sync. 

Submitting forms directly to the All Contacts list is useful if you wish to conduct nurturing campaigns on these contacts prior to adding them to your CRM.
