Does Removing a Contact from the Source List also Remove Them from the Automated Program?

If I remove a contact from our source list from the marketing list section, will that also remove them automatically from the automated programs they are a part of? Unless I am doing it wrong, it looks like it doesn't remove them from the automated program and they continue on to receive emails inside that program, even though I deleted them from the source list. I have to go into the automated program, find what wait step they are on, and exit them manually.

Any ideas on how to do this more efficiently?

    Thanks for reaching out! When you delete a contact from the source list, they should early exit any program they are in once they traverse to a new step. If you are not experiencing this behavior, please feel free to reach out to our support team!
