    Hi Gina,

Unique sent is total unique email addresses sent to. Total/Gross sent is how many emails were sent in total. Eg: say you have a list of 100 people. You send a message 3 times over a month to the list. The total/gross sent would be 300 (since it was sent three times to the same list). The unique sent would be 100 (since that's how many individual people are on the list).

This is also the same for unique/gross clicks too, btw.

    Hope that helped!

Hi! I was looking through the act on documentation and can't seem to find the differentiation between Unique Sent vs. Total Sent. Can someone please explain that to me? Thank you!

    Thanks Michelle,

How would this apply if this was a one time send, to a unique list, suppressing duplicates? Why would the numbers be different?

    Hey Gina,

What numbers are different for you? What are you comparing them against? Did you send one message to the list you mentioned and then send another message to that same list and compare those numbers?

It should apply the same as above with the criteria you mentioned. The unique sent will be the number of actual individual emails the message was sent to. The total sent, in that case, should be the same as the unique sent, if it was just a message sent one time.

If you let me know what you're comparing the report against, I'll have a better context of your question.

    All the best,

    Hi Michelle,
Thanks I think there might be bug, I'm going to log a ticket. This is a one time send, to one list.. and unique sent and total sent do not match.
