Classic and Beta Form to CRM problems
Why this is bothersome: basically, we can't view our users submitted form data in our CRM, only from a downloaded excel database.
What am I missing?

I am sorry to hear about the frustrations that you are experiencing with viewing submitted Form data in the Labs/Beta forms.
I can assure you that you aren't doing anything incorrectly, it is an unfortunate limitation currently as Act-On continues to expand the functionality of the Labs composer/Forms.
At this time, anyone attempting to view the submitted data of a Labs Form through the Activity History or the Form's report/results will see the error you included in your post.
Hopefully this feature is added soon, to eliminate the need to download your submitted data to view the responses.
For now, you are doing the best that you can!

I'm happy to report that we are currently working on making the Activity History and Forms reports compatible with Labs Forms and expect the updated reports to be released within the next month.
