Outdated Email Templates - Best Practices

Chad Collett
Looking for any suggestions how people are handling outdated email templates. There is not a feature (that I am aware of) where you can simply deactivate the template and it doesn't clutter up lists, so wanted to see what others are doing to keep your templates folders clean and up-to-date and not filled with outdated templates that are not currently in use.

Thanks,

I have created a separate folder named 'archive' to house our templates that are no longer in use. When I determine that something is outdated, I can easily move it to the archive folder. We are still able to search for any outdated templates at any point, but this way they don't clutter our folders that house our active templates.
