    Happy Monday Everyone!

I just wanted to give you all a quick reminder that the tagging contest has just a few short days left before we announce the winner!  Just to whet your appetite if you do win, I'm also announcing the prize on here today.  The winner of the tagging contest is going to get a really fantastic Act-on Timbuk2 backpack, perfect for commuting or travel. Don't worry though, we'll have plenty of other fun activities if you missed out on this one!

    Thanks,

Hello everyone!  I wanted to pop in and give you all an update on a new contest that we'll be running for the next few weeks in the Act-On Community!  This contest is not set to a specific discussion area, but will be site-wide, and therefore everyone has a chance to participate. The thing we want to focus on this time around is tagging posts.  This can be in any discussion across the site, and the way it works is going to be pretty straightforward.

For every post from now until the end of January that is properly tagged on the community, you'll be entered into a drawing to be the winner.  Now, keep in mind that this is properly tagged.  The post needs to have some actual merit (no spam posts) and the tag needs to make sense and apply to the situation.  The way to add a tag to a post is pretty straightforward using hashtags.  Simply type a '#' and then begin typing your tag that you'd like to use.  There are already some prepopulated tags that will show in a list related to different areas of the product, so those are a great jumping off point.  You can also create your own tags to use, but remember to keep it relevant and on topic.

This should be a fun way to start using the tags that will help us put everything into bins as the community grows and matures, and will assist everyone using the site in searching for relevant content as well.  The contest winner will be announced on February 1st. As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to me here!

I want to give a big Thank You to all of you that participated in the tagging contest over the past several weeks.  Keep going with the process, as it's goiing to help everyone in the community in the long run.  I have the pleasure of announcing the winner of the contest today, who will be receiving the great Act-On Timbuk2 backpack that I posted about earlier in the thread.

So without further ado, I would like to congratulate @Tami Nealy for being selected as the winner!  Be on the lookout for a message coming to you soon with more information so that we can get your prize delivered to you!

    Best,
