Splitting content Item between rows

I've been trying to figure this one out using the template builder but come up short.

Outside of creating a two toned background in photoshop or something, is there anyway to have an object, like an image, displayed across two rows so that the first half of the image is on a white background, and the second half, on a blue background?

Hi Nick,

The only way to have different colored backgrounds for rows and columns is to have separate sections and columns within a section and then you can't have an image span across the two.

For example, if you add a section with two columns, you can adjust the settings of each column to have two different colors. Then you could add two separate images to each column.

A lot of the time, if you want to adjust an image with specific overlay texts or backgrounds, doing it within a photo editor before uploading to Act-On is the best bet to get it to look just so.
