Check Out the All New Automated Journey Builder -- Create, Edit and Save Visual Workflows in Act-On Automated Programs
You asked and we delivered! If you typically sketch a customer journey workflow on a whiteboard or on the back of a napkin, you’re going to love this new and improved Automated Journey Builder. Marketers like us tend to be visual learners and creators, and we seek intuitive technologies that embrace how we think and work best.
That’s why we’ve significantly enhanced the user experience and interface for building automated programs in Act-On. Our all-new Automated Journey Builder delivers a more interactive, dynamic, and flexible design experience while expanding a marketer’s ability to engage across channels, touch points, and outcomes.
This means it’s easier than ever to design and execute workflows that nurture prospects and customers, target segmented lists, build engaging communications, and trigger offers with Act-On’s Automated Programs.

What's changed and why?
Visual imagery can simplify complex information, improve comprehension, and open possibilities in the quickest possible time. We are delivering these benefits to Automated Programs while we continue to update the overall design and functionality of the Act-On environment.
With the new Automated Journey Builder, a communications workflow can easily be created, edited, and saved as a template for reuse. This new format is easier to understand, especially as programs expand horizontally across multiple branches. And, it’s less prone to errors because you now have improved visibility and expansive zooming and panning capabilities.
Early users tell us this new Automated Journey Builder makes it easy to build and contextualize automated programs, reduces redundancies and erroneous steps, and effectively opens minds.
“From a visual standpoint, this makes it so much easier to identify where prospects are in their journey and then deliver better experiences. It’s so much easier to use and follow than the previous version of the tool.” -- Beta participant: Cara Moretti, Creative Manager at REV Group

This example extends beyond just the visual field, but provides a snapshot of the simplicity and intuitive steps in a communications workflow, and demonstrates some of the flexibility marketers can expect when creating, editing, saving, and sharing their programs.
What hasn't changed?
The underlying engine that powers our Automated Programs and its capabilities remains familiar and accessible to you, even as you explore new options, simplify or add complexity to your campaigns, or extend your communications workflows. Visual experience changes are the focus of this round of updates. In the near term, we will be making additional updates to Automated Programs management and reporting to improve usability and performance.

Hi Sarah,
I just signed up to be a part of the Design Partner Program. Is there an opportunity to be a part of this Beta still? I heavily use automated programs and would love to test this out. Thank you!
