Is there a way to apply shading to alternate rows of a table so the reader can easily see each line without ugly borders?
I have a 27-row table in my message and I want to apply shading to the background of alternate rows to create visual distinction between the rows. When I try to add a background color manually to every other row, no color appears.

Hi Marny,
Thanks for reaching out to Act-On Technical Support. My name is Joe and I would be happy to help.
We don't have a way to conditionally run through the table and fill in every other row with a background color. However, you should be able to do it one by one. I understand that is tedious but that would be the best way to accomplish this task.
Essentially, you need to make sure you're clicked inside the row you want to color, click the table button > row > row properties > advanced > background color. Once you change the color here and save, it will color the background of the row you have selected.
