Web Page & Media reporting

When running any multi stage program I go into the Campaign section under Automation and create a Campaign and add any emails, content and web pages that are being utilized as part of the program. One of the reasons I do this is that one of the vendors I work with may also be co-funding and I can get a quick snapshot of the stats.

However, I am not sure what the value of putting the Media content or web pages URLs associated with the campaigns in this view. Unlike emails or Landing Pages, other than listing the items I see no stats. Why is that?

After all, the most key part of the campaign is to track if they went to a specific web page associated with the campaign or downloaded content.

Have others found a simpler, better way to track these things?

Cheers

Paul

    Hi Paul,

Good question. The Campaigns feature is generally used to show all of the campaign's assets in a single view - which sounds like how you're already using it. This is a handy way to click into individual reports as needed, and there are message rollup reports for all messages in the campaign, but there's not a single report that shows data for all content types.

You can click the Media Asset link in this view to see a report with known and unknown views, and you can also open a message report and look at the Clickthroughs section to see clicks on specific web page links included in the message.

    Thanks!
