End of Q4 -- Holiday season Messaging!

So, as all of you know, Q4 is a special time in Email-  and the upcoming bombs of Black Friday and Cyber Monday (and now Cyber Weeks, the week of Thanksgiving and after), Email Landscape is precious.

Act-On did a webinar on this about a month ago, but I thought I would ask about specific strategies and highlight a few of the tips we gave out!

Overview of the Back half of Q4-
  • 20-40% increase in number of emails
  • Lowest Open rates of the year
  • Workers are distracted by home concerns and the Holiday season

Given those facts, there are a few suggestions we have
  1. Pause all onboarding of new clients from the week prior to Thanksgiving through the New Year (and maybe wait an extra week)
  2. Make your emails stand out~  Change up the normal and do spins on your normal emails.  Don't be afraid to theme them.
  3. Pivot normal messaging to target Q4 goals and end of the year budgets.  These are my thoughts, I
