Adding Contacts in Running Automated Program
0 Votes
Hi everyone!
I was asked if it was possible to add internal company contacts into the automated program that is currently running. There are three emails in this program and we have already went through the first email. Each email send has a 'Wait Until [Date]' before it.
I'm not worried that the internal contacts will receive the first email right away, but I am worried that the contacts that have already went through the first step will repeat that step if I run it again.
Would those contacts run through that first step again? What happens if I press 'Yes' on 'Adding New Contacts?'. What happens if I press 'No'?
Any answers are greatly appreciated!

Hi Nic,
Take a look at the front page of your program when you're in edit mode. There is a box that says 'Allow contacts to reenter steps.' If that box is unchecked, then you don't need to worry about your contacts who already went through step 1 to receive it again.
