Is their a way to share the marketing calendar?

Hubbard Jordan
I love that the marketing calendar records email sends, campaigns, social posts and can include manually added custom events - But, how can we share this information with the rest of our team (i.e. Sales Users) so they know what the home office is sending out to their program customers and prospects?

Google calendar is not an option for us - nor is any free calendar sharing application. Will the downloaded CSV import into MS Outlook calendars?
Thanks!

    Hi Hubbard,

Act-On's Marketing Calendar exports as a CSV file, designed for Google Calendar.

Outlook's Calendar (depending on your version of Outlook) supports CSV and/or XLS files.

In Outlook 2016, you can directly import the csv exported from Act-On with no changes made to the file.

For other versions and more information, feel free to review this article on importing calendars to Outlook: How To Import a Calendar From Excel to Outlook

Hopefully this is helpful for you and let me know if not!

    Happy marketing!

    Hi Jackie.

The solution you recommend uses a wizard on windows. I thought the process would be easy enough to follow in Outlook for MAC - but when I try to import, my only choices are for a .pst or .olm file. Act-on generates a .csv file. So do you have any suggestions for converting, exporting or saving the .csv to an acceptable format for Outlook for MAC?

However, I did find this possible solution on the Microsoft website:
CSV Calendar Upload to Mac Outlook 2016
    Microsoft remove preview
CSV Calendar Upload to Mac Outlook 2016
How do I upload a CSV or XLS Calendar to Outlook 2016 for Mac? ***Post moved by the moderator to the appropriate forum category.***

But as my preferred account for this shared marketing calendar from act-on is not my primary account I am not sure it will work?
