Managing the Webex Events and Webinars Listing

  • Updated

The Webex Events and Webinars listing is where every Webex event and webinar connected to your Act-On instance shows up. This article covers how to open the listing, what the two views contain, and the actions available from each row.

Who this is for

Anyone managing Webex events or webinars in Act-On and looking for where to find them or how to start a new one.

Open the listing

There are two ways to open it:

  • Go to Automation > Webinars, or
  • From the Quick Start menu on the Start page, click Events and Webinars.

Once your Webex connector is synced, any events or webinars that exist on your Webex account populate the listing. All times are shown in your browser's time zone.

Upcoming and Past views

The listing has two tabs:

  • Upcoming groups webinars by This Week and Future.
  • Past groups webinars by how recently they ran: This Week, Last Week, Two Weeks Ago, Three Weeks Ago, Four Weeks Ago, and Older.

Both tabs offer the same two actions per row:

  • Open the webinar dashboard (click the webinar title).
  • Delete the event or webinar.

Missing a webinar?

Click Refresh at the top of the listing to pull the latest data from Webex. Check you are on the right tab: newly created webinars only appear on Upcoming, and anything past its start time moves to Past.

Create a new webinar from the listing

From the top of the listing, click either:

  • New to create a Webex Event (Classic), or
  • New Webex Webinar to create a Webex Webinar (New).

For full scheduling steps, see Webex Webinars User Guide.

Quick reference
  • Open the listing: Automation > Webinars (or Quick Start > Events and Webinars)
