Adding video content to your designs can be an effective way to engage your audience.
Because many email clients have limited support for embedded video and to avoid data-heavy playback on mobile devices the Video content block is designed to display a thumbnail with a play icon that links to your video instead of embedding it directly. This ensures consistent rendering and avoids common email playback issues.

- Add: Drag the Video block into your layout.
- Email: Enter YouTube/Vimeo URL → thumbnail auto-generates → customize play icon.
- Landing Pages: Choose between Thumbnail, Embedded, or Hosted video modes.
- Customization: Edit title, play icon color/size/type, padding, visibility.
- Playback controls: Available for Embedded and Hosted video on Landing Pages.
Try it like this: Use the Video block to highlight a product demo - add a YouTube link, apply your brand colors to the play icon, and include supporting text beneath with a Button block for a clear call-to-action.
Adding a Video Content Block

From the Content tab, drag the Video content block into your design.
- In the sidebar, under Video url, enter a valid YouTube or Vimeo link. A thumbnail with a play icon appears automatically, and icon customization options become available.
- Edit the video Title if needed.
- Adjust the Play icon style - choose the icon type, color, and size to match your design.
- Block options let you set padding and choose whether to hide on mobile or desktop. For Landing Pages, you can also assign a block identifier for internal links. Learn more
