What’s Changing
Act-On users are now able to create Landing Pages from standard emails created in our new Email Composer. These new Landing Pages will be editable in a brand-new Landing Page Composer, which delivers much of the functionality of our existing Landing Pages while modernizing the experience in alignment with the new Email Composer. Notably, certain blocks are not supported in Landing Pages, such as Polls, while other blocks have additional functionality, like a menu block that can collapse on mobile devices.
These new Landing Pages support many of the same features the existing Landing Pages support, including:
- Page status
- Page redirects
- Public URL management
- SEO and Social Share settings and preview
- Link testing
- Landing Page report
At first, the new Landing Page composer will have the following limitations in its initial release:
- New composer Landing Pages cannot be created from scratch, or duplicated. The new composer is limited to editing Landing Pages that were created from BEE emails.
- New composer Landing Pages are not yet supported for plain text and HTML upload emails created in the new Email Composer.
- The make a Landing Page capability will not be initially accessible to accounts in a Marketing Network.
When
The new Landing Page Composer is planned for release on November 11, 2024.
Customer Impact
This update streamlines workflows by enabling users to repurpose email content as Landing Pages. Customers currently using the existing “Make a Landing Page” feature will benefit from a more intuitive interface and a seamless email translation process, reducing manual work. Users should be aware that the Poll block and personalization settings will have modified behavior.
Stay tuned for future plans to enable full Landing Page creation capabilities from scratch for all accounts.
