Technical Improvements for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Users

What's Changing

We've made some technical improvements to how Act-On integrates with Microsoft Dynamics. This makes syncing more efficient & paves the way for all Dynamics users to take advantage of Act-On's newest contact management tools. 

Users won't notice much change in the application as a result, except in one area. When sending an email to Dynamics leads or contacts, Act-On now creates a "Sent Email" activity in Dynamics instead of a Closed Task. This change was initiated from customers' suggestions.

When

This change will be applied in batches across our Dynamics users over the next several weeks. The rollout should be complete by the end of February. This excludes accounts where Dynamics is "on-premise" - we'll be updating those accounts after the initial rollout.

Customer Impact

You may notice faster sync times but this change should not have any other functional impact. If you do notice any unexpected changes to your integration please contact technical support.
