Paragraph & List Content Blocks

  • Updated

The Paragraph and List content blocks let you format and organize text clearly and consistently across your designs. The Paragraph block is ideal for long-form content and descriptive text, giving you precise control over font styles, colors, and spacing. The List block helps you display ordered (numbered) or unordered (bulleted) lists with customizable indentation and spacing - keeping your messages easy to read and accessible.

Quick Reference (Advanced Users) - Click to Expand
  • Paragraph Block: For body text, long descriptions, and styled paragraphs.
  • List Block: For numbered or bulleted lists with custom styles and spacing.
  • Formatting Tools: Popup toolbar for bold, italics, colors, links, and more.
  • Block Options: Control padding, visibility (mobile/desktop), and internal links (Landing Pages only).
  • Links: Add URLs, email links, media files, or Act-On assets.
Try it like this: Use a Paragraph block to add a welcome message or product description, then follow it with a List block to highlight three key features or benefits. Apply consistent font styles and spacing for a clean, scannable layout.

How to Use the Paragraph Content Block

  1. Insert: Drag the Paragraph content block from the Content tab onto a Row in your design.
  2. Customize: Use the sidebar to set the font family, weight, size (in pixels - e.g., 16px ≈ 12pt), text and link colors, alignment, line height, letter and paragraph spacing, and text direction.
  3. Block Options: Adjust padding, or choose to hide on mobile or desktop. For Landing Pages, you can also add a block identifier for internal links (learn more).
