Add to CRM Step - Microsoft Dynamics

  • Updated

Push highly qualified leads to Microsoft Dynamics (MS Dynamics) with the Create in CRM step in Automated Programs.

The data pushed from this step will include any source fields that have matching fields in MS Dynamics. For example, if First Name is in your Act-On Contacts Segment or Marketing List, it will push that value to the First Name field in MS Dynamics. It is important to make sure that the source list field names are mapped to your Contact object fields for Act-On Contacts or Marketing Lists.

When using multiple Create in CRM steps in a single program, add a "Wait" step between them to ensure the first step is completed before additional changes are sent to MS Dynamics. Otherwise, some contact updates can occur out of order.

Enter a Step Name, & from the second drop-down, either select a list to add to or create a new list. If creating a new list, enter a name & select whether to add members as Contacts or Leads in MS Dynamics, based on their email address.

When using the Add to CRM step, if there isn't a list that matches, a new list is created with the same name as the Automated Program.
