The Create in CRM step gives you the ability to push highly qualified leads into Zendesk Sell based on lead score qualification. You can also create Deal, Task, and Note information to help you categorize and organize your step and segment leads in Zendesk Sell.
Create New Records
Check the Create new records as: box to create a new record for a Lead or Contact based on their email address. You also have the option to update existing records if duplicates are found.
The data pushed from this step will include any list fields which have matching fields in Zendesk Sell. For instance, if First Name is in your Act-On Contacts Segment, it will push that value to the First Name field in Zendesk Sell. It is important to make sure that the source list field names are mapped to your Lead/Contact object fields in Data Management.
+ Add Field allows you to select any field pulled in from your Data Management and add it to your new record in Zendesk Sell. Once you add a field, you can select the corresponding value for that field.
Update Existing Records
Check the box for Update existing records to update Zendesk Sell with data from your Act-On Contact segments. The data pushed from this step will include any data from Act-On Contact fields that have matching fields in Zendesk Sell. For instance, if First Name is in your segment, it will push that value to the First Name field in Zendesk Sell.
Add Entity
You can add an entity to your CRM step to create a Note, Deal, Task, Contact, or User.
When adding a Task, you can give your task a status, priority, and subject. You'll most likely want to add fields to include a due date, email address, or description or assign it to a user or team.
Creating a Note only requires a subject line. However, you can add additional fields to contain other supplementary information such as email address, description, or assigned user.
Add a Deal entity to include information about any relevant attributes related to the state of your deal (date if closed, reason if unqualified stage, currency and value if open, etc.).
Add a User entity to your step to create a sales owner in Zendesk Sell with the appropriate related information (name, team, timezone, contact info, etc.).
