Data Studio is a powerful tool that allows you to export raw data from behavioral and list profile data sets. In the second step of export creation, you set the Actions to include in your report. Every data set has its own unique set of Actions to report on. Read more to decide which Actions you should choose for your Data Studio export.
Data Sets
Email Messages
| Action | Definition |
| Sent | A contact has been sent an email message. |
| Opened | A contact has opened an email message. |
| Clicked | A contact has clicked on a link or button in an email message. |
| Hard Bounced | An email message was sent to a contact, but it hard bounced. |
| Soft Bounced | An email message was sent to a contact, but it soft bounced. |
| Opt Out | A contact clicked on the opt-out link. |
| Spam | An email message was filtered as spam by the contact. |
| Suppressed | A contact was suppressed from receiving an email message. |
| Failed | An email message failed to deliver to the contact. |
This Data Set has two additional options to customize your Action-related data:
- Limit results to messages sent within the export time frame and actions associated with those messages up to five days past the end of the time frame
- Inject effective opens
Forms
| Action | Definition |
| Viewed | A visitor has viewed or loaded a form on their device. |
| Inserted | A unique form submission has been made by a visitor. |
| Updated | A form submission has been made by a returning visitor who has previously made a form submission. The additional form submission may or may not update existing data on the form submission list. |
