To better understand how your segments are structured and how they perform, you can review several types of information. The options below help you explore each segment’s details, activity, and overall performance so you can manage them more effectively.

- Info Hover Card: Quickly see hierarchy, type, and definition.
- Contacts Tab: View the full list of contacts in the segment.
- Segment Details: Review performance metrics and metadata.
- Activity: Check recent usage, creation date, and modifications.
Info Hover Card
Hover over any segment in Audience Center > All Contacts to reveal a small info button. Hover over the info button to see more details about the segment, including:
- The last time it was modified
- This updates any time you change the segment definition or adjust the sort order.
- Segment hierarchy
- Segment type (query, direct select, and others)
- Segment definition (the criteria used to build the segment)
If the segment is a system-generated segment, its info card will also include a short description.
Contacts List and Segment Details
Click on any segment in All Contacts to open the Contacts tab and see all contacts within the segment. You can also open the Segment Details tab to review the segment’s performance and activity.
Performance
The Performance section shows the number of Total Contacts and Sendable Contacts in your segment. Sendable Contacts are eligible to receive messages and have not opted out or experienced hard bounces or spam complaints.
Engaged Contacts includes any contact with a score above zero. Average Lead Score shows the average score of all contacts in the segment.
Details
The Details panel shows whether the segment is in a folder and whether it has any tags applied. You can also review the parent segment hierarchy.
The Segment Type section summarizes the criteria used to build the segment and gives you access to edit the segment definition.
Activity
Use the Activity section to see when the segment has been used in messages or programs. You can also check when the segment was created and the most recent time it was edited.
