Using Multiple Choice Surveys Emails - Legacy Composer

  • Updated

The Multiple Choice block lets you ask recipients a simple poll question in your email. You can include up to ten response options, arranged in one or two columns.

Quick Reference (Advanced Users) - Click to Expand
  • Drag the Multiple Choice block into your email.
  • Add a prompt and up to ten clickable response options.
  • Optional: Allow multiple selections, comments, or visibility of other responses.
  • Use only one Multiple Choice block per email—results are combined.
  • View responses in the email's Report under Survey Responses.
Try it like this: Add a Multiple Choice block, ask one clear question, provide up to five options, and enable comments if you want more detailed insight then review responses in the message report.

Add the Multiple Choice Block

  1. In the Design tab, locate the Multiple Choice block.

  2. Drag the block into your message. The Multiple Choice window opens.
  3. Enter your Prompt (the question you want to ask).
  4. Add your Choices - each becomes a clickable link in the email.
    • To remove a choice, hover over it and click Delete.
  5. Open More Settings to configure additional options:
    • Allow recipients to make more than one choice (checkboxes).
    • Allow recipients to add a comment and add a prompt for comments.
    • Allow recipients to see other recipients’ responses.
  6. Click OK to save the block.
Best practice tip: If you need more than one multiple-choice question, create a separate Form for each question to keep your results organised.
Use only one Multiple Choice block per email. If more than one block is included, all responses are combined in reporting.
