Integrating Other Third Party Tools

Act-On connects to a lot of tools beyond what's listed on the Connectors screen — usually through Zapier or a similar integration platform. These custom integrations work well for many customers, but they live outside Act-On, so we can't provide support for the third-party side of the connection.

Why this matters: Before you build one of these integrations, it helps to know upfront that you (or whoever sets it up) will be responsible for troubleshooting it — not Act-On Support. That's a very different commitment than a native connector.

Common Integration Options

A common way to integrate 3rd-party tools is through Zapier's Act-On integrations. Another option is Tray.io. Tools that can be integrated include:

  • Airtable
  • Totango
  • Meetup
  • Freshdesk

Zapier is able to push data from these systems to Act-On, and vice versa. Please refer to Zapier's help pages for more information.

Please note: Because this functionality exists outside of the Act-On platform, the support that we can provide on these integrations is extremely limited. We do not recommend implementing these solutions unless you are comfortable troubleshooting any issues in Zapier directly.
