Pre-filling your Act-On Forms allows your web page to automatically populate customers' information when they load the Form. This reduces the risk of typos in Form submissions, which helps the integrity of your data.
Important notes:
- Data is only pre-filled if the contact has been cookied previously by clicking through an Act-On message or submitting an Act-On Form.
- If you forward an email with a link to the Form's Landing Page, it will also forward your unique cookie, so Forms will pre-fill with your personal information.
- Pre-fill is intended to load values from the Form submission list. If a different list is used, incorrect data may be pre-filled. If pre-filling fields from a list other than the Form submission list is required, use Act-On Contacts. See also Improved Form Submissions with All Contacts.
