Analytics Updates: Webinar reports, Enhanced chat agent

  • Updated

For users of Act-On's integrated webinar connections (GoToWebinar, Zoom, WebEx) new reports on overall webinar performance help marketers understand the impact of their webinar activities.

Also, the integrated analytics AI chat feature has been upgraded.

What's Changing

Webinar Reports

We've added reporting for Webinars.   See overall performance trends such as average # of attendees and % of registrants attending as well as individual webinar performance.   For Analytics subscribers, look for the "Webinars" liveboard on your Analytics home page.  For standard report users, look for the "Webinars" link in the reports section of the navigation.

Analytics Chat

The Analytics chat agent has a number of improved features

  • Summarizes your data in a chart as well as with a written explanation
  • Can auto select the data model to use based on your question, instead of requiring you to pick the model.   One of the benefits is that multiple models can be combined to get your answer.   So if you want to see a chart of campaign performance with total form submissions, email clicks and media downloads, the chat bot can produce this for you.
  • Can answer more complex "why" questions about your data.  For example, if your KPI shows that form submissions decreased WoW, you can find out more about what factors led to this decrease.
  • Quick Search vs. Deep Analysis mode.   Use the quick search when you want an answer to a simple question.   Use the Deep Analysis mode for a more complex analysis of your data.  The agent will create a multi-step research plan and execute a number of queries to product a detailed report.

When

The Analytics chat changes are available starting March 19, 2026.  Analytics subscribers also have access to the Webinar report. The standard report will roll out March 26, 2026.

Customer Impact

All customers will have access to more data about webinar activities and access to the enhanced chat capabilities.
