Preview how your email Personalization displays for a sampling of contacts to ensure your list is set up correctly and the fallback text is working.

- Add your recipient list(s) on the Address tab.
- Preview individual personalization outputs in the Review tab.
- Use Check Full Personalization to scan your lists for missing values or field issues.
- Verify fallback text for all personalization fields.
- Fix or exclude contacts where data is missing or incorrect.

Click the Address tab and add your recipient list(s):
- Go to the Review tab.

Under Sample Preview, select a recipient from the dropdown:
- Review the output of all personalization fields.
Check Personalizations
The Check Full Personalization feature scans every record in your recipient list(s) to identify missing values, incorrect field names, or other issues.
- Go to the Address tab and add your recipient list(s).

Go to the Review tab and expand the Check Full Personalization Now section:
- Click Check Full Personalization Now.
Errors?
If errors are found, Act-On will highlight which fields or contacts are affected. You have three options:
- Ensure all personalization fields include fallback text.
- Review the list for missing field values. You can:
- Correct the issue (missing data, incorrect mappings, sync/import problems, or incorrect field names/typos).
- Send the message only to contacts who have values populated, and exclude those missing required fields.
