Prior to connecting, we recommend setting up the custom fields in Zendesk Sell that will display the score(s) for your Leads and Contacts in the CRM.

Instructions
Your Zendesk Administrator will need to set up a custom field for each score you will sync to Zendesk. You will need to create that field for both the lead and contact entities in Zendesk.
Do you use multiple scores? That's fine - create a score field for each score sheet. For example, if you have one score sheet for your profile data and another score for behaviors, create one field for each score for both your Leads and Contacts in Zendesk.
Create a Custom Field for Leads
- Login to Zendesk Sell as an Administrator
- Go to Settings > Customize >Leads
- Click the + Add Field below the Custom Fields section found in the Fields tab
- Enter details:
- Field Label: Act-On Score (or similar field name)
- Field Type: Number
- Filterable: Checked
- Value Editable Only by Admin: Checked
Repeat for Contacts
- Go to Settings >Customize > Contacts
- Click the + Add Field below the Custom Fields section found in the Fields tab
- Enter details:
- Field Label: Act-On Score (or similar field name). This should match the field you created for Leads.
- Field Type: Number
- Filterable: Checked
- Value Editable Only by Admin: Checked
Next Steps
Once you are done setting up your custom fields in Zendesk:
- Connect to Act-On if you have not already
- Set up Act-On's Data Management panel, associating your new score fields with your Act-On scoresheets
- Begin syncing your data by setting a schedule.
