Folders help you organize large collections of segments in Audience Center. Use them to group campaigns, audiences, or time-based efforts so you and your team can work more efficiently.

- Create folders and subfolders to group segments
- Drag and drop segments or use the ⋯ More menu to move them
- Each segment can only live in one folder
- Deleting a folder does not delete the segments inside
Try it like this: Create a folder called 2025 Campaigns and move your segments into subfolders like Q1, Webinars, and Partner Events.
Create a Folder
- Go to Audience Center > All Contacts > Segments.
- Click the Folders tab on the left panel.
- Click Add Folder .
- Enter a name (e.g. “2025 Campaigns”) and click Create.
Create a Subfolder
- Hover over an existing folder and click Add Subfolder .
- Name the subfolder (e.g. “Q1”) and select its parent folder.
- Click Create.
Move Segments into Folders
You can move segments into folders using drag-and-drop or the More menu.
Drag and Drop
- Go to All Segments.
- Hover over a segment and click the grip icon .
- Drag it into a folder in the left-hand panel.
Use the More Menu
- Hover over a segment and click ⋯ More.
- Select Move to folder.
- Choose the folder and click Move.
Move Multiple Segments at Once
- Go to All Segments or open a specific folder.
- Select multiple segments using the checkboxes.
- Click Move to folder in the toolbar.
- Select a folder and click Move.
Rename or Delete Folders
Rename a Folder
- Hover over the folder and click ⋯ More.
- Select Rename, update the name, then click Rename again.
Delete a Folder
- Click ⋯ More on the folder you want to delete.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm your choice.
Deleting a folder does not delete the segments inside. They’ll move back to the main All Segments view or their parent folder.
Tips for Working with Folders
- Each segment can only live in one folder at a time
- Subsegments remain with their parent unless moved manually
- Use folders for campaigns, audiences, product lines, or time periods
