Delete Contacts from Audience Center All Contacts

You can delete contacts singly, or choose multiple, or all the contacts in a segment. Deleting is permanent, however, if the contact is in your CRM system, they will get synced back to All Contacts on the next sync.

Instructions

Delete One Contact From a Segment

  1. Go to Audience Center > All Contacts & open the segment you want.
  2. Hover over the contact you want to delete & click  More Options.
  3. Click Delete Contact.

To get proof of deletion for GDPR or other regulatory purposes, consider using the Erase Contact tool instead.

Delete Multiple Contacts From a Segment

  1. Go to Audience Center > All Contacts & open the segment you want.
  2. Use the checkboxes on the left to select all the contacts you want to delete.
  3. In the blue bar at the top, on the right click Delete Contact.

Delete All Contacts From a Segment

  1. Go to Audience Center > All Contacts.
  2. Hover over the segment you want.
  3. On the right, click  More Options.
  4. Click Delete all contacts.

Tip:  Check user permissions to control who can delete contacts from your All Contacts database.
