You can delete contacts individually, in bulk, or remove all contacts from a segment. Deletions are permanent. If a deleted contact exists in your connected CRM, it will return to All Contacts on the next CRM sync.

- Hover a contact row to delete one contact.
- Use checkboxes to delete multiple contacts.
- Use the segment menu to delete all contacts in a segment.
- CRM contacts return on the next sync unless erased.
Instructions
Delete One Contact from a Segment
- Go to Audience Center > All Contacts and open the segment you want.
- Hover over the contact’s row and open More Options.
- Select Delete contact.

If you require proof of deletion for regulatory reasons, use the Erase Contact tool instead. It provides an auditable, compliant deletion workflow.
Delete Multiple Contacts from a Segment
- Go to Audience Center > All Contacts and open the segment you want.
- Select contacts using the checkboxes on the left.
- In the blue action bar at the top, click Delete contact.
Delete All Contacts from a Segment
- Go to Audience Center > All Contacts.
- Hover over the segment you want to clear.
- Open More Options.
- Select Delete all contacts.
Tip: Manage who can delete contacts by reviewing user permissions.
