Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) increases the security of your Act-On account by requiring a one-time verification code during sign-in. This article explains how admins request MFA for their account and how users set it up for the first time.
Quick Reference (Advanced Users) - Click to Expand
- To enable MFA for your account: Review the admin setup guide, then contact Support or your CSM to turn it on.
- To set up MFA as a user: Sign in using the MFA Login option, scan the QR code with your authenticator app, and enter the code to finish setup.
- MFA sign-in page: Bookmark it for daily use.
- Resetting MFA: Your admin resets it in Settings Users. Then complete setup again.
Enable MFA for Your Act-On Account
Account administrators can add MFA to strengthen access protection. Before you request MFA, review the setup guide for Act-On admins. Once you confirm your readiness, contact Support or your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to enable MFA for your account.
After MFA is activated, all users complete a one-time setup using an authentication app on their mobile device. The same app is used every time they sign in.
