Marketing Network Account Management

  • Updated

Marketing Network allows Marketing Agencies and B2B marketing teams to create child Act-On accounts (also known as managed accounts) that are managed by Admin users in a parent account.

For Act-On Marketing Network users, Marketing Network is available on the left menu. If you don't have this, contact Support to find out if your account is eligible.

Also, see our Marketing Network Best Practices & FAQs.

Account Management

Go to Marketing Network > Account Management > Accounts tab.

  • At the top, Admin users can view stats about the child accounts and active contacts availability. Managers can see a list of accounts they are assigned to.
  • Search, sort, and filter the child accounts. Organize your child accounts into folders & subfolders.
Tip: To add a child account to a folder, find the child account you want in the main list, hover over it, click  and drag it to the folder in the Accounts area on the left.

Create a Child Account

  1. At the top right, click + Create account.
  2. Enter an Account name.

Assign Active Contacts

Change the number of active contacts that are distributed between child accounts.

When active contacts are added to child accounts, they are moved from the parent account. The parent account must have at least one active contact, and the remaining active contacts can be distributed between the child accounts as required. For example, there are 30 active contacts distributed between the parent and two child accounts as shown:
