Right to Access Requests

  • Updated

Comply with GDPR's Right to Access requirement by extracting data to share with a customer or prospect. If you receive a Right to Access request, follow this process.

Use the Print All option on the Contact Report

  1. Open a contact's Contact Report. For example,
  •
    • Go to Audience Center > All Contacts & open the segment All Act-On Contacts. Find the contact you want (search is available at the top right), hover over the contact & on the right click Contact report:

  •
    • Go to Lists > Marketing Lists & click the list containing the contact you want to open. From the list, click the contact to open their contact report.
  1. In the Contact Report, at the top left, click > Print All, & using your browser's print settings, save as a PDF.

  1. Share the PDF directly with the customer.
Print All is different from the Print option. Print All finds the matching email address in all lists & segments, & prints a combined Contact Report containing an Info tab section for each to present all the stored data. Behaviors are the same for a given email address in Act-On regardless of the list or segment the contact is in, so there are no multiple Timeline tabs printed.
