You can quickly create a new email from a previously sent message. This generates a new message and a new sent message report, allowing you to reuse layouts, content, and personalization settings without starting from scratch. This applies to both Legacy Emails and those created in the Email Composer.
Quick Reference (Advanced Users) - Click to Expand
- Access: Go to Outbound › Sent Messages or open the message directly in the Email Composer.
- Reuse: Select Create New from Sent to generate a new copy.
- Edits: Update content, subject line, or recipients before sending.
- Reports: A new sent message report is automatically created for tracking.
Option 1: From Sent Messages
To reuse a previously sent message:
- Go to Outbound › Sent Messages.
- Hover over the message you’d like to reuse.
- Click the More Options menu (⋮) and choose Create New from Sent.
This opens a new message draft in the Email Composer, using the same design and settings as the original email. Update your content, subject line, or audience before sending.
Option 2: From the Email Composer
You can also create a new message directly from within the Email Composer:
- Open the original sent message in the Email Composer.
- Click the menu icon in the upper toolbar.
- Select Create New from Sent.
- Update any design or send details before saving or sending your new message.
For Legacy Emails
The same process applies to messages created in the Legacy Email Composer:
- Go to Outbound › Sent Messages.
- Select a legacy message and click Create New from Sent.
- The new copy will open in the Legacy Email Composer for editing.

- Always update your subject line to reflect the new campaign or audience.
- Review all links and dynamic content before sending.
- Use Create New from Sent to maintain consistent branding and layout across campaigns.
- Save the new version as a Template if you plan to reuse it regularly.
