Add Email Addresses to your Opt-Out List

  • Updated

If someone cannot click the unsubscribe link for some reason, or if you receive an email message from someone asking to unsubscribe, you can unsubscribe the address manually. Read this article for complete instructions.

About Opt-Outs

Every email message you send from your Act-On account includes an Opt-Out link, usually in the footer. A Contact can click that link to unsubscribe their email address from future mailings.

Act-On keeps unsubscribed addresses in the Opt-Out list. Any email address that appears in this list will not be sent future messages from your account.

Please note: The system will not allow an email address to opt-out if it is associated with an Act-On user (Marketing/Sales/Admin) or a From Address in your account. To unsubscribe one of these addresses, remove the user or From Address first.
