Responses to a Multiple Choice Block, or a poll in newer emails, are stored at the bottom of the Sent Message Report for the email that collected them. You can see each recipient's answer without exporting anything.
Why this matters: Multiple choice and poll answers are valuable first-party data. Seeing them alongside standard email metrics lets you see how people responded, rather than treating the answers as a separate data set.
Quick Reference (Advanced Users) - Click to Expand
- Open the email's Sent Message Report from Outbound > Sent Messages.
- Scroll to Responses So Far (legacy emails) or Survey Responses & Participants (newer emails with polls).
- For newer emails, see polls. For legacy emails, see Multiple Choice Block.
Try it like this: Go to Outbound > Sent Messages, click the email that contained your multiple choice block, open the Report tab, and scroll to the Responses So Far section at the bottom of the report.
How to find the responses
- Navigate to Outbound > Sent Messages.
- Locate the message you want to view and click its title.
- Click the Report tab.
- Scroll to the Responses So Far section at the bottom of the report.
Note: Newer emails use polls rather than the Multiple Choice Block. If your email used a poll, the section is labelled Survey Responses & Participants but lives in the same place on the report.
