How to Enable Opt-Out Permissions in Salesforce

  • Updated

To synchronize your Opt-Out data between Act-On and Salesforce, your connected user's profile must have Field-Level Security access to View and Edit the Email Opt-Out field.

Ask your Salesforce Administrator to update this permission by following these instructions.

User Permissions Reminder: We recommend using your Salesforce System Administrator as your Act-On connected user, therefore these Instructions are provided for the System Administrator Profile. If you are connecting to Act-On with a user who has a different profile, the Email Opt Out field must be editable for that user's profile.
