Act-On Components for Salesforce

Once the Act-On package has been installed in Salesforce, there are several components you can add so your team can access Act-On features directly in Salesforce.

These features are accessible only after the administrator has granted access to the users by placing them on the page layout(s). Follow the links below for more information and instructions in installing Act-On components for Salesforce.

Act-On Tab

 

 

 

 

 

 

An Act-On portal for Salesforce users who are registered in Act-On.

Features include:

*These features must be configured in addition to the Act-On tab.

Send Act-On Email

 

This feature set allows Salesforce users to send emails to leads and contacts using Act-On’s email servers and tracking capabilities.

Act-On Contact Report

 

This feature lets users view the Contact Report directly in Salesforce. Available as a pop-up.

Act-On Account Report

This feature lets users view theAccount Report directly in Salesforce. Available as a pop-up.

Send Act-On Email to Report

This feature set allows registered Salesforce users to send emails to a Salesforce Report from the Classic and/or Lightning Home pages.

Add a Salesforce Campaign to Act-On

This feature allows Salesforce users to push a Salesforce campaign over to Act-On and create a marketing list. This component is a button that creates a pop-up window to Act-On.

 

Deprecated Package Components

Due to the nature of Salesforce plugin development, previously used components cannot be removed from our package. Additionally, some components are not intended to be placed in a page layout. The following components should not be placed in any page layout and should be removed if they were previously installed.

Tip: You may need to hover over the element in Salesforce to identify the correct component.

Visualforce Page Lead

The S-control does not go onto the page. It is called when the associated button is clicked.

May cause unintended behavior on page load.

Visualforce Page Contact

This does not go onto the page layout. It is called when the associated button is clicked.

May cause unintended behavior on page load.

Send to Report

Report_Send_ActOn_Email

Visualforce Page Contact

This does not go onto the page layout. It is called when the associated button is clicked.
