The Website Visitors Summary Report gives you a fast read on your recent website tracking data - who's visiting, whether you know who they are, and how many convert - broken out by month, plus the current month to date.
Why this matters: Traffic without context is just a number. This report separates known visitors from anonymous ones and shows how many convert, so you can tell whether your site is attracting the right audience and turning visits into identifiable leads.

Understand the Metrics

People visiting - the sum of counts of unique email addresses (known visitors at the time the report was first refreshed for that day) and unique cookie IDs (anonymous visitors at the time the report was first refreshed for that day) visiting on each day during the month.
- Known - the sum of counts of unique email addresses of known visitors on each day during the month as a percentage.

Anonymous - the sum of counts of unique cookie IDs of anonymous visitors on each day during the month as a percentage.

- Conversions - the number of cookie IDs bound to email addresses via form submits or email clicks during the month.
- Bounces - the sum of counts of unique organizations (by organization name, city, and state based on IP location data for anonymous visitors) and unique email addresses (known visitors) visiting only one page on each day during the month as a percentage.
- Companies - the sum of counts of unique organizations (by organization name, city, and state based on IP location data) for anonymous visitors on each day during the month.
Other Things to Know
- Like all summary reports in the Reports menu, data is refreshed once daily (at midnight in your account's time zone).
- Unique visitors are counted separately for each day by this report, i.e., a visitor to your site twice in one day will be counted once, but if they visit once a day for two days, they'll be counted twice.
